Dimple Girl

Victoria is sporting her dimples while carrying on a conversation with Aunt Valerie. They seem to speak the same language, one that I will have to re-learn if I am going to make any headway in this relationship! Grandma B, Aunt Val and I stopped by on 6/26/08 for a short visit while Aunt Valerie gets to visit and help while Jason and Sheri are at camp. The 4 of them will spend some time in Schnectady NY for Victory Grove Camp.

Retro Girl Strikes Again!

Valerie, (rear right) attended a birthday party for Rachel (front right) who is the daughter of the pastor of the Middleburg PHC. They are such creative people! This was her "Poodle Skirt Party". Poodle skirts were made for each of the girls who attended. They had a great time. Also pictured is the view from the back yard of their home. It is such beautiful country! Thank you for the memories.

A Cheery Teddy

This Teddy is from one of the many kind people who often ask on the condition of my sister Doris. MJ (Mary Jane) said that it represented ALL of the people who loved her and were concerned about her welfare. Doris was truly surprised and very happy. Her condition has much improved since chemo.

Threads from Friends

An old friend, Cheryl Muir, made Victoria a beautiful outfit. She used to make them for Valerie. Thank you Cheryl!

These are a few of our roses inspired by Jeanne's blog. Something we have in common. In another week or two our rose garden will be in full bloom.

Sweet Repose

Victoria was wonderful during the dedication, but it just plumb tuckered her out. I'll just trust Dad and "hang in there!"
